Sir William Perkins’s School is seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Art and Design to join our vibrant team, working closely with the Head of Department and the wider Art and Design Technology department. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that students receive a well-rounded and high-quality experience of the subject, inspiring creativity and an appreciation for the visual arts.
As a Teacher of Art and Design, you will ensure students receive a well-rounded and high-quality experience of the subject. You will inspire creativity and encourage an appreciation of the visual arts among students. This role involves developing students’ skills and approaches, encouraging self-expression, and teaching art and design techniques across a range of media, such as oil painting, watercolour, printmaking, photography and 3D. The successful candidate will plan engaging and stimulating lessons aligned with the curriculum and help students explore their creative potential.
